| EEP leader Chilufya Tayali |
Economic
and equity party (EEP) leader Chilufya Tayali says he is the main witness in
roan member of parliament Chishimba Kambwili's forgery case and ready to face
him in court.
Yesterday
police arrested Mr. Kambwili on three counts of forgery and uttering false
statements in relation to his company, Mwamona engineering.
Police
arrested and charged him with three counts of forgery, uttering false documents
and presenting false documents to a public officer.
And
Mr. Tayali alleges that Mr. Kambwili registered his company under a person who
doesn't exist, by the name of Mwamba Chishimba.
He
has told journalists that despite the roan mp's claims that the name in
question is his son's; Mr. Kambwili does not have a son with the name in which
the company is registered.
And
Mr. Tayali has told Mr. Kambwili to stop dragging president Edgar Lungu's
daughter Tasila Lungu in the matter.
Yesterday
the roan mp who is also national democratic congress political consultant
accused Ms. Lungu of amassing so much wealth within a short period.
But
Mr. Tayali has charged that Mr. Kambwili should stop accusing other people of
corruption when he is the one who is corrupt.
He
says people should not trust the former information and broadcasting services
minister.
